I think people are also confused about what love is, which you referred to at the end there. At a festival this past weekend, I met a group of folks urging us to vote for an equal rights ammendment for homosexuals, because . . . yup, God is love. So love us. But what is love? To allow folks to continue what they are doing, have equal rights for a few years, and be condemned eternally? Or to tell them the truth now, so that they can repent and be saved eternally? If I love them, won't I try to help them? (Whether they want my help or not?)
