I was doing just that yesterday morning – thanking God for smart and courageous FBI, police, and US Attorneys. As the entire world knows today, six radicalized Islamic nincompoops who were heck bent on slaughtering innocent people were arrested and charged yesterday with plotting to use Fort Dix as their “last stand.” U.S. Attorney Chris Christie made the announcement yesterday afternoon.

But it was in the morning when I turned on WNBC to watch the morning news that I found myself thanking God. To have people intent on slaughtering and maiming innocent people all in the name of a “god” is sick and perverse. The murderous plots of six evil people never came to fruition. But we didn’t know why.

Now we do: A clerk at a Circuit City in Moorestown, NJ tipped off law enforcement officials about the band of terrorist wanna-bees. Even though I live in Bergen County in the far northeast of NJ, I’ve shopped at the store in Moorsetown, down near Cherry Hill. Last year, after my PALS meeting in Vineland, I found myself continuing to have problems with my satellite radio. Before leaving for Vineland, I scanned the Circuit City website for locations along the Turnpike and Moorsetown popped up. So, on that Saturday when I was returning to Bergen County, my radio went goofy and I pulled off the Turnpike and after getting lost, I found the store and picked up a new radio (thank goodness for warranties!).
