It is not possible to be a true Christian and openly homosexual at the same time. I think it would be wise to consider this, read Leviticus 20:31 then read John 10:35, here Jesus just reaffirms what is written in the Old Testament as absolute truth (since there was no New Testament in Jesus days on Earth). If you do not believe this you are creating a Jesus from you own imagination.

Are homosexual sins forgivable? Yes of course, as is any sin, but Christ does not want us to pass our sins off as though they are somehow normal and ok. We are to treat every sin as utterly serious (Matthew 18:7-9).

You probably can't be both. However I do believe a person can be homosexual and Christian. The only one making the big deal about homosexuality in the new testment was Paul and frankly, he never saw or interacted with Christ and I suspect he probably had some latent homosexual issues himself. He was on a bandwagon to oppress Christians, then got on one to promote it. Kind of like your modern day druggies who go from one extreme to the other. They always have to be addicted to something. Drugs, Religion, Sex.....
